- Updated to new version of CUDA 4 (latest video drivers are recommended)
- Several improvements in GUI
- Bitdefender could cause Neat Image to freeze, fixed
- Several other issues and bugs were resolved

Upgrading from older versions
The new major version 7 (and its minor updates like 7.1) of Neat Image
standalone (Win) is available with discounts to users of the older versions. Please find more details in the version
upgrade page. New noise profiles in the libraryMany new profile sets have been created and submitted to the profile
library by generous users of Neat Image. We thank all the contributors who build new profiles for the community
of Neat Image users. Please also participate in building new profiles
for digital cameras and scanners. Using the Batch Profiler in Neat Image,
you can easily and quickly build a profile set for your camera. Please

the "Device noise profiles" section) for additional information.

of its noise reduction solution for digital photography that
inherits and refines the highest quality and efficiency traditionally
delivered by Neat Image.
This new major version of Neat Image continues
the line of the standalone versions of Neat Image that
were earlier available within the Neat Image v1-v6 Home, Home+,
Pro and Pro+ editions 32-bit (Win).
Neat Image v7 standalone comes in two
editions: Home and Pro. Each edition now includes both 32-bit
and 64-bit builds.
The new major version of Neat Image standalone includes the following

Neat Image standalone
- CUDA support: faster noise reduction using modern CUDA-compatible
GPUs
For example, on NVidia GTX 470 Neat Image
