| How to install: | - Download one of the dmg files above
- Double-click the downloaded dmg file to mount it
(Safari and some other browsers may automatically mount the dmg for you
after download)
- In the mounted volume, double-click NeatImagePS.Intel.pkg (or NeatImagePS.PowerPC.pkg)
to start the installer and then follow the wizard to complete the installation
process.
You may be prompted to enter Name / Password of the OSX administrator
account to install the software.
The installer will automatically add the plug-in alias to Photoshop and/or
Photoshop Elements.
- Restart Photoshop and find the menu Filter >
Neat Image > Reduce Noise
If you do not see Neat Image there:
- make an alias for the NeatImage.plugin package from the Neat Image
installation folder (usually /Applications/Neat Image for Photoshop/)
- put the alias into the Plug-Ins sub-folder in Photoshop / Photoshop
Elements folder
(if the language of your version of Photoshop
is other than English, you may have to use another folder, for example, "Zusatzmodule" in
German version, "Modules externes" in French, "Insteekmodules" in
Dutch, "Plug-In" in Italian, etc.)
Attention: remove any older versions of
Neat Image from the Plug-ins sub-folder
